Terms of Service

1. Overview

Subdomain Manager provides free DNS management and Minecraft subdomains. These Terms apply to all use of the app, including the dashboard, APIs, and tools such as the Minecraft status checker. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We do not host websites, application servers, or gameplay infrastructure. Our role is limited to automating DNS entries that point to systems you control. You remain solely responsible for what happens on any server that becomes reachable via the DNS records you create.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must sign in with Discord and meet Discord's minimum age for your region. The service targets community users and hosting operators, not children.
• We do not knowingly permit use by anyone below that minimum age. If you are under the required age, do not use the service.
• Keep credentials, DDNS links, API keys, and OAuth secrets private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time via /profile; this removes your DNS records and stored account data (see Privacy Policy for details).

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for illegal content, impersonation, malware, phishing, DDoS, or other abuse of DNS infrastructure.
• Only submit IP addresses, domains, and verification tokens you are authorized to use. Minehut verification temporarily disables normal records until you clear the token.
• Respect fair-use limits. We may cap, pause, or revoke access that harms stability for others (e.g., excessive record churn, automated abuse, or misuse of referral bonuses).
• We may remove DNS records or subdomains if we receive valid legal requests or if content violates applicable law.
• You are responsible for the security, moderation, and legal compliance of every server or service referenced by your DNS entries. Subdomain Manager has no visibility into and assumes no responsibility for the content or conduct hosted on those systems.
• If you integrate our OAuth or API features, you are responsible for your client secrets and for keeping user data secure.

4. Community & support

We recommend joining our Discord server for updates and support, but participation is optional; you can use the service without joining. Official support responses may be faster in Discord.

5. Service changes & availability

• We may update or discontinue features at any time. Maintenance or quota changes may appear as banners in the dashboard or profile.
• DNS propagation depends on upstream resolvers and global DNS caching. Uptime is not guaranteed.
• DNS automation relies on third-party infrastructure (including Cloudflare Tunnels for secure provisioning), so availability may be affected by those providers even if our dashboard is online.

6. Intellectual property

You retain rights to the server names and content you connect to your subdomains. We retain all rights to the Subdomain Manager platform, branding, and code. Do not misuse our trademarks or copy the service without permission.

7. Disclaimers & liability limits

• The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of availability, fitness, or non-infringement. Use it at your own risk.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including the laws of Mauritius), our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to USD $0, because the service is free. This limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• We are not responsible for uptime, security incidents, or damages arising from the servers or content that you point to via DNS. Those systems are operated entirely by you or third parties and remain outside our control.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Subdomain Manager and its operators harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your DNS data, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion, including for abuse, security concerns, or legal reasons. You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account through the profile page.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. If any term is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
